Making the Arts accessible to all residents and visitors of the Brazos Valley

Interning at The Arts Council

"Interns are an integral part of the team at The Arts Council, and you’ll work alongside staff to promote the arts in the Brazos Valley. Our ideal intern is a creative thinker, has graphic design experience, and enjoys spontaneous ice cream parties. Fall is a busy time at The Arts Council, and interns will be working on projects such as the Artist Showcase at Texas Reds, Celebrate the Arts, and the Navasota Artist in Residence program. This paid internship will provide valuable real-world experience, as well as provide The Arts Council with much needed marketing support. Interns will learn to use/increase their proficiency in a variety of programs including Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, and Wordpress-based websites. In addition, this internship will help to develop professional networking skills through the opportunity to work with the general public, members, donors and media outlets throughout the Brazos Valley" - acbv.org
